A Spectacular Stage Show by DAV Students at Bharat Mahotsav

DAV students with their magnificence talents took the stage by storm at the prestigious 'Bharat Mahotsav- 4' held at the Embassy of India in Kathmandu on August 12. The 'Bharat Mahotsav- 4' was organized to mark the celebration of '77 years of India's Independence'. The event that was organised by Indian Citizens' Association of Nepal (ICAN) in association with Embassy of India, Kathmandu witnessed the celebration of Indian cultural dance, food festival and multifarious activities throughout the day. His Excellency Shree Prasanna Shrivastava, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India, Kathmandu attended the programme as the Chief Guest and extended best wishes of 77 years of India's Independence. The celebration saw a participation of distinguished personalities from different Diplomatic agencies of Kathmandu along with leading personalities from Nepal-India Friendship Forum. DAV Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia was cordially invited as the special guest. Mr. Hemant Brijwasi, winner of Rising Star-2 and Sa Re Ga Ma Little Champions and his group performed their outstanding talents and added elegance and ecstasy to the celebration programme. Similarly, motivational speaker, Mr. Amit Todi presented his mind-boggling presentations. Mr. Manoj Kandoi, president of ICAN also delivered his important speech to the celebration programme. The students of DAV who left sweet memories in welcome ceremony of Bharat Mahotsav are all from Grade IV and they are Devansh Gautam- Section 'B', Sanskar Dahal and Aviskar Aryal from Section 'C', Anushree Karki- Section 'D', Kamalendra Hazra, David Shah and Hazena Sai(Khadgi) from Section F, Utkrista Khadka and Sayamta Budhathoki from Section G and Pranisha Bhandari from Section H. Likewise, Ronit Joshi – IX 'H', Shiven Bairathi- IX 'I' and Sachin Gupta- XI 'B' created fun and refreshment with a Comical Dance. In the same trait, Navya Mohta- V 'G', Aarya Mishra – XI 'A' and Sayaka Maharjan- XI presented rhythmic yoga show as part of rich heritage and ancient knowledge of Bharatbarsh. Similarly, Ananya Singh- VII 'H', Sohalya Jha- IX 'I' and Jiya Jha- IX 'J' presented Bharatnatyam Dance. Hemakshi Agarwal – VIII'G', Shristi Shrestha- IX 'B' and Jiya Ambastha- XI 'A' presented Kathak Dance. The Holi Dance was presented by Kushal Kumar Gupta- IX 'H', Swadesh Thapa- X 'D', Sachin Gupta- XI 'B', Sujal Sah – XI 'B', Rohit Gupta- XI 'E', Tanishq Agrawal- XI 'E', Shresha Manandhar- IX 'G, Abyani Silwal- X 'B', Aishwarya Shah- X 'C', Anshu Shrestha- X 'C', Sachi Vanshika Jha- X 'C' and Keepa Maharjan – XI 'A'. Likewise, Riya Shah- X 'D', Malavika Rao- X 'F', Twinkle Pandiya- X 'H', Meghma Panta XI 'B' and Ilishiva Shrestha- X 'A' presented Garba dance. Similarly, Deepta Singh Khatri- X 'C', Waarish Raja- X 'G' and Nishant Kumar Shah- X 'H' staged robot dance. The Bollywood dance was performed by Sachin Gupta- XI 'B', Nitish Kalwar- XII 'D', Shivam Sharma- X 'C', Payal Kumari – XII 'B', Aaniya Agrawal- XII 'D', Stuti Sharma- XII 'D', Niyati Sharma- XII 'E' and Neha Jaiswal- XII 'E'. Last but not least, a team of student, Himalayan Jung Basnet- VIII 'A', Pratush Dangol- VIII 'B', Aman Shrestha- IX 'A', Krishna Pandit- XII 'D', Raj Jaisawl- XII 'E', Sirju Singh Dangol- VIII 'A', Ronisha Rana Magar- IX 'A', Sakchhi Pun Magar- IX 'A', Seung Shrestha- IX 'D' and Anshu Shrestha- X 'C' staged Tollywood Dance. A total of fifty seven students from DAV were a part of stage show. As soon as the stage show of DAV came to the end, the audience overwhelmingly cheered at DAV students with thunderous applause. The host lady of the day also immensely appreciated the talents of the students. The Bharat Mahotsav at the Embassy of India in Kathmandu not only celebrated India's Independence Day but also fostered creativity and potential of the younger generation.
