
Family Jamboree of Grade X

The most awaited family Jamboree of Grade X for the academic
session 2022/23 was held in the presence of Mr. Rewat Kumar from Hindu Swoyam
Sebak Samaj, at Buddha Hall on September 23.
The Parents and guardians of Grade X were the spectators of the programme.
The students set a journey of global culture in the form of songs, music, dances, art and enactments with their astounding talents.
Prior to the event, the Principal, Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao and teachers trained and guided the students in order to give justice to their performance.
Some interested fathers were also involved in a refreshment game.
The chief guest of the programme, Mr. Rewat Kumar remembered Dayanand Saraswati, the brainchild of Dayanand Anglo-vedic (DAV) School across the world and also late Shankar Lal Kedia from Nepal in his address.
In addition, he was delighted to see the same spirit and enthusiasm of DAV School as it was seen during the inception on January 25, 1993. Meanwhile, he appreciated the Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia, the first lady Ms. Sunita Kedia for following the footsteps of their father Late Shree Shankar Lal kedia.
He equally appreciated DAV for undertaking and enabling students to become responsible to the society and country through Vedic Teaching and value based learning.
Likewise, he also extended sincere gratitude to the Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao for leading the organizations with innovations as per the need of 21st century learners.
The Chairperson added that DAV follows the principle of Arya Samaj and shed a light on it. According to Chairperson, Arya Samaj is dedicated for the character building and drive young generations to righteousness path through Vedic teachings.
He also extended heartfelt gratitude to the Guest for his benign presence and blessing despite the busy schedule. The first Lady Ms. Sunita Kedia was there to extend sincere hospitality to the guests and parents.
The formal programme started with welcoming the guest followed by lightening the lamp, welcome speech, Nepali-Hindi Mash up song, Sherpa Dance, English Dance, Family Competition, Tik Tok Dance, Prize distribution to Winner Fathers, English Song, Kathak Dance and Egyptian Dance.
The programme concluded with a thank you note from Vice-principal Mr. Ram Chandra Khanal. He also extended heartfelt gratitude to the chief guest for his kind words and acknowledged parents and guardians for the motivation to their ward. The teachers of Grade X were the moderators of the programme.
