Sushil Kedia Memorial One-Day Blood Donation Camp

On 1st November, the Nepal Youth Red Cross Circle of DAVSKVB, in collaboration with the Blood Bank, Pulchowk, Lalitpur, organised a one-day blood donation camp on the school premises to mark the 60th birth anniversary of the late Sushil Kedia.
According to Mr. Modnath Poudel, Co-ordinator of the Nepal Youth Red Cross Circle, a total of 50 staff members and parents participated in the blood donation programme, generously contributing to this noble cause.
The blood collection was facilitated by a team of six medical professionals from the Blood Bank, Pulchowk, Lalitpur, along with the school’s infirmary staff. The student volunteers who assisted during the camp were Tejashwi Khadka of Grade X ‘B’, Baibhav Khadka of Grade X ‘B’, Nisha Nayak of Grade X ‘E’ and Jeshu Nagarkoti of Grade X ‘E’.
Following the successful completion of the camp, the Blood Bank presented a letter of appreciation to the school in recognition of its contribution. Senior School Activity In-charge Mr. Tankanath Ghimire received the letter on behalf of the school.
