Date: Sep 18th, 2026

Newton Science Club organised a one-day workshop titled ‘Robotics for Girls’ for Grade IX students on September 17, 2026, at Jetavan Hall. The workshop aimed to develop students’ practical technology skills and encourage their interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
A total of 37 students from different sections took part in the hands-on session. The workshop was led by Er. Jonish Raj Lama, who introduced the students to the basic concepts of robotics and their practical uses.
The workshop gave the students an opportunity to learn, explore and build their confidence in technology. It also encouraged greater participation of girls in science and engineering and helped them develop skills for their future.
