Grade VIII Students Celebrate Saathi Circle and Cultural Connect Programme

The teachers’ team of Grade VIII organised the Saathi Circle and Cultural Connect programme on September 10 and 11, 2026, as part of the activity calendar. The programme included a lunch-sharing session with peers and a cultural exchange activity, providing students with an opportunity to connect, share and enjoy meaningful moments together.
According to Mr. Ganesh Paudel of the English Department, the programme aimed to develop essential 21st-century life skills such as communication, empathy and social-emotional intelligence. It also encouraged intercultural awareness, mutual understanding and a sense of community among students at an important stage of their adolescent development.
As part of the programme, one representative from each section participated in the inter-section dance competition. Mayur Basnet of Grade VIII E secured first position, followed by Sadira Thapa of Grade VIII B in second position and Sadhvi Nakarmi of Grade VIII J in third position. Kritika Rai of Grade VIII B was recognised as a special performer for her impressive performance as a non-participant.
The performances were judged by Ms. Shreejana Bajracharya from the English Department and Ms. Narmila Subedi from the Dance Department. The programme was hosted by Mona Mishra of Grade VIII C and Prashanna KC of Grade VIII D, while Dikshani Adhikari of Grade VIII G delivered the vote of thanks.
The programme was initiated by Portfolio In-charge Mr. Chudamani Dahal and Mr. Ganesh Paudel of the English Department. The event brought together learning, friendship and cultural expression, making it a memorable experience for the Grade VIII students.
