Middle School Celebrates Children’s Day with Special Assembly and Saathi Circle Activity

The Middle School wing of DAV School, comprising Grades VII and VIII, celebrated Children’s Day on September 10, 2026, with joy and enthusiasm. The celebration focused on appreciating the talents, happiness and well-being of the students through a range of special activities.
The highlight of the day was a special thematic morning assembly presented entirely by the teachers. Stepping beyond their usual roles, the teachers entertained and inspired the students with a lively programme specially prepared for Children’s Day. Ms. Samita Raut anchored the assembly, while the morning updates were presented by Mr. Ganesh Poudel, Mr. Diwas B.K., Mr. Bibek Gupta, Mr. Binod Shrestha and Ms. Shreejana Bajracharya from the English Department, covering national, international, sports, thought of the day and literature news respectively.
Mr. Shreedhar Subedi presented a special thematic segment, followed by a soulful musical performance by Mr. Bibek Thapa and the Music Department. Their performance added warmth and energy to the celebration and brought smiles to the students.
Following the assembly, students took part in class-wise Saathi Circle activities. The activities encouraged students to connect with their peers, share experiences, express appreciation and strengthen friendships in a warm and supportive environment. They also helped develop empathy, communication and social-emotional skills.
