''Number Ninja: Master the Magic of Multiplication'' in Senior School

The Department of Mathematics and  Aryabhatta Mathematics Club organised, “Number Ninja: Master the Magic of Multiplication,” in Senior School on August 13. The event was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Ramchandra Khanal and was held for students of Grades IX to XII in the presence of an enthusiastic audience.
Senior School Co-ordinator Mr. Tank Meghji Devji shared that the initiative was first introduced in the Junior School during the 2025/26 session on the recommendation of Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia. It has now been extended to the Middle and Senior Schools. The main objective of the programme is to reduce students’ dependence on calculators and encourage mental calculation, which helps develop thinking and problem-solving skills.
The competition was conducted by Senior School Mathematics Teacher and Quiz Master Mr. Shyam Lal Das and moderated by students Pratik Kunwar and Ananya Modi. According to Mathematics HOD Mr. RK Tripathi, the final round included four General Rounds covering different mathematical topics, followed by exciting Rapid Fire Rounds with ten questions for each group.
A total of 18 students, with three representatives from each of the six school houses, competed in the final round.
As per the results, Mount Dhaulagiri House secured the First Position, with Agramshu Prosper Ghemire (Grade IX A), Rukhsar Khatoon (Grade XI A), and Shubham Sharma (Grade XI C).
Similarly, Mount Kanchanjanga House won the Second Position, represented by Dewansh Agrawal (Grade XII D), Pratik Kushwaha (Grade XI D), and Purvansh Bhatta (Grade XII C).
In the same trait, Mount Machhapuchchhre House secured the Third Position, with Prahavi Gupta (Grade XI D), Prakash Bhupal (Grade XII D), and Navya Singh (Grade IX H). The winners were honoured with medals and certificates immediately after the competition.
