Inter-Section News Story Writing Competition for Grade IX and X Students

The William Wordsworth English Club organised an Inter-Section News Story Writing Competition for Grade IX and X students in their respective classrooms on August 6.
According to the Club In-charge, Mr. Ganesh Poudel, the primary objective of the competition was to enhance students’ news writing skills by highlighting the basic principles of news writing—accuracy, balance and credibility—and presenting information effectively to the public.
The competition was held section-wise. The students participated enthusiastically and demonstrated their news writing skills by writing stories on different topics. The entries were evaluated by the English language teachers of Grade IX and X. The winners will be honoured with Merit Certificates in due course.
