Inter-house Mathematical Data Presentation Competition

Aryabhatta Mathematics Club organized an 'Inter-house Mathematical Data Presentation Competition' for Grade X students in Jetavan Hall on July 30. According to Club In-charge Mr. Shalendra Yadav, the competition was designed to motivate students to research modern techniques for learning mathematics. The presentation topic focused on the "Impact of Social Media on Students' Academic Performance."
Mathematics Department Head Mr. R.K. Tripathi noted that students were free to collect any relevant data connected to the topic and were encouraged to effectively use pie charts, tables, and graphs in their visual presentations. A total of twenty-three students participated, working together in groups of three to four.
In the final results, the team from Mount Lhotse House—comprising Tejaswi Khadka (X 'D'), Arjan Dali (X 'D'), Kriti Deo (X 'E'), and Roxaulina Thapa—secured first place. Mount Kanchanjunga House took second place with a team formed by Aarohi Thapa (X 'D'), Stuti Rasaily (X 'D'), Shreya Bajracharya (IX 'C'), and Swastika Shah (IX 'E'). Third place went to Mount Gaurishankar House, represented by Agrim Adhikari (X 'H'), Kritika Gupta (X 'I'), Manan Mittal (IX 'J'), and Rishu Gupta (X 'H').
The competition was evaluated by Mathematics HoD Mr. R.K. Tripathi alongside Senior School Maths Teacher Mr. Randhir Singh. The event was co-ordinated by Senior School Activity In-charge Mr. Tanka Nath Ghimire, while Anushka Agrawal (X 'G') and Pratik Kunwar (XII 'E') served as the moderators for the programme.
