Yangzum Bagged Bronze Medal at South Asian Karate Championship

Yangzum Lama, a Grade VI Section 'J' student representing Champion Martial Art's Academy, delivered an impressive performance at the international level by clinching two Bronze medals at the South Asian Karate Championship held in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The event—comprising the 10th Cadet, Junior, U-21 & Senior South Asian Karate Championship and the 2nd Under 14 South Asia Karate Cup 2026—took place from July 17 to July 19, 2026, at the Shaheed Suhrawardi Indoor Stadium in Dhaka. The championship was organized by the South Asian Karatedo Federation (SAKF) and hosted by the Bangladesh Karate Federation.
Demonstrating notable technique and endurance, Yangzum secured her first Bronze medal in the U-12 Team Kata Female event. She followed up this achievement with a second Bronze medal in the U-12 Female -40 KG Individual Kumite category.
