Book Jacket Making Competition in Middle School

Helen Keller Library Club organised a Book Jacket Making Competition for Grade VII and Grade VIII students in the Senior School Library on July 24.
Two representative students from each section participated in the creative event, which encouraged them to design attractive and meaningful book jackets based on their favourite literary works. The competition aimed to develop students' creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression while strengthening their interest in reading and literature.
The book jackets were evaluated by the Head of the Art Department, Mr. Rajumuni Bajracharya. As per the results in Grade VII category, Karika Shrestha (Section B) secured first place, followed by Roshna Maharjan (Section A) in second place and Sumer Bajracharya (Section G) in third place. Ritisha Dangol (Section F) and Slash Shrestha (Section J) received consolation prizes.
Similarly, in Grade VIII category, Navya Mohata (Section H) won first place, while Anandita Shrestha (Section G) secured second place and Deshna Sancheti (Section I) finished third. Avasa K. C. (Section B) and Garima Rasaily (Section F) secured fourth and fifth positions respectively. Consolation prizes were awarded to Abhinay Paudel (Section B), Era Tamrakar (Section C), Sarun Shrestha (Section E), and Sumana Shakya (Section J).
