Investiture Ceremony of Junior School, 2026/27

The Investiture Ceremony of Junior School for the academic session 2026/27 was solemnly held in Buddha Hall on June 25. The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, Mr. Arjun Maharjan, President of PABSON Lalitpur Metropolitan City, along with the parents of Junior School students.
The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest in the presence of the school authorities. This was followed by the National Anthem and a brief introduction to the programme.
Adding colour and cultural richness to the occasion, the students presented a vibrant Nepali cultural dance, which was warmly appreciated by the audience. The School Flag and House Flags were then formally handed over to the newly elected Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains, Vice House-captains, and Prefects. The student leaders proudly presented a Guard of Honour to the Chief Guest before receiving their leadership badges.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest congratulated the newly elected student leaders and encouraged them to carry out their responsibilities with sincerity, dedication, and integrity. He thanked the school management for the invitation and expressed his pleasure at being part of the memorable occasion.
Speaking on behalf of the Prefect Council, Junior School Head Boy, Shirish Maharjan, expressed his gratitude to the school for providing opportunities to develop leadership qualities and serve the school community from an early age.
The students further captivated the audience with another patriotic Nepali cultural dance, making the programme even more vibrant and memorable.
The ceremony continued with the oath-taking and badging of the newly appointed Club Executive Members, symbolizing their commitment to serve with responsibility and dedication.
One of the most awaited moments of the programme was the announcement of the Best House Award for the academic session 2025/26. Mt. Lhotse House proudly received the prestigious Best House Trophy amidst loud applause and joyous celebrations.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Junior School Coordinator, Mr. Andrew Fitzpatrick. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Guest, parents, school management, teachers, and everyone who contributed to the success of the ceremony. He also emphasised that the Investiture Ceremony inspires students to uphold the core values of leadership, responsibility, discipline, and service.
The programme was smoothly and efficiently conducted by Mr. Surchen Shah, Middle School Activity In-charge.
