DAV Students Serve as Traffic Volunteers in Awareness Programme

Date: Jun 14th, 2026

Mother Teresa Social Service Club of DAV School organised a Traffic Awareness Programme for its executive and general members at Jawalakhel on June 12.
A total of 13 students participated in the programme and worked as traffic volunteers. The activity provided students with an opportunity to understand the importance of road safety, traffic rules, and community service.
According to Club In-charge Ms. Sushma Lamsal, the objective of the programme was to help students become active, responsible, and disciplined citizens. It also encouraged them to take part in social activities, spread awareness about safe road behaviour, and develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
The programme helped students realise their role in creating a safer and more responsible society by promoting respect for traffic regulations and public safety.
