Date: Jun 14th, 2026
As part of their practical learning, a team of 36 students of Grade IX studying Fashion Designing participated in an educational field trip to Nepali Bhairab Textile in Lubhu on June 11.
The visit was organised to help students understand the different stages of textile production, including spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, printing, and finishing. According to Fashion Designing teacher Ms. Linda Gurung, the trip aimed to provide students with practical knowledge of textile machinery and equipment and help them connect classroom lessons with real industrial practices.
During the visit, students observed various production processes and gained valuable insights into how fabrics are manufactured. The hands-on experience enhanced their understanding of the textile industry and broadened their knowledge of fashion and fabric production.
