Winners of the 4th Mt. Everest International Taekwondo Championship 2026 Honoured in the Assembly

The winners of the 4th Mt. Everest International Taekwondo Championship 2026 celebrated their remarkable achievement with the Principal, Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao, at the school’s main ground on February 27.
On the occasion, the Principal congratulated the students and wished them continued success in their future endeavours. Earlier, during the morning assembly held on 26 February 2026, the medal winners and the team coach were formally honoured for their outstanding accomplishment.
In the prestigious G1-ranked international tournament, a delegation of eight students represented the school. The championship witnessed the participation of more than 1,500 athletes from 23 nations. Competing at such a highly challenging level, four students secured podium finishes, winning one silver and three bronze medals.
Medal Winners:
• Tanishqa Shah – Silver Medal (Cadet Under 59 kg)
• Aangsuk Lama – Bronze Medal (Cadet Over 65 kg)
• Aavash Moktan – Bronze Medal (Junior Under 73 kg)
• Avinamra Poudel – Bronze Medal (Junior Under 68 kg)
Other participants—Akshunna Rai, Agrim Budhathoki, Ojashwi Dangol, and Jayanti Shah—also displayed commendable performance and excellent sportsmanship throughout the competition.
Achieving a 50 per cent medal conversion rate at a G1-level international event highlights the effectiveness of the school’s structured training programme and the dedication of its young athletes. The school administration has extended its heartfelt congratulations to all the participants, coaches, and parents for their continued support and commitment.
