School Inaugurates Futsal Ground on the Occasion of 9th Sushil Kedia Memorial Inter School Futsal Tournament

DAV School formally inaugurated its futsal ground on 18th August 2025, marking the beginning of the 9th Sushil Kedia Memorial Inter School Futsal Tournament.
The inauguration was led by Vice-principal Mr. Ramchandra Khanal in the presence of Senior School Co-ordinator Mr. Tank Meghji Devji and Head of the Physical Education and Sports Department, Mr. Purnendu Ghosh. Hindu rituals and worship of the ground were performed as part of the ceremony.
The rituals were conducted by Sanskrit HOD Mr. Purushottam Rijal along with Sanskrit teachers Mr. Niranjan Khatiwada, Mr. Sudarshan Adhikari and Mr. Suddep Misha, who recited Swasti Bachan and guided the worship.
Following this, the opening ceremony of the 9th Sushil Kedia Memorial Inter School Futsal Tournament was held. In his address, the Vice-principal warmly welcomed the players from all participating schools. He spoke about the importance of fair play in building a successful sporting career and extended his best wishes for the smooth and successful completion of the tournament.
