Best out of Waste Inter-Section Newspaper Quilling Art Competition

The Vasudha Eco Club organised the “Best out of Waste” Inter-Section Newspaper Quilling Art Competition for students of Grades IX and XI in the Vocational Room on August 15.
A total of 56 selected students took part in the event—36 from Grade IX and 20 from Grade XI—with four participants representing each section. According to Ms. Kusum Lama, In-charge of the Vasudha Eco Club, the objective of the competition was to inspire students to create artistic pieces by reusing old newspapers, thereby promoting creativity.
The competition successfully encouraged eco-friendly practices and raised awareness about waste reduction and sustainable living. The event was evaluated by Mr. Rajumuni Bajracharya, Head of the Art Department. The winners will soon be awarded Certificates of Achievement.
