IT Quiz Competition Organised by Computer Department

On 6th August, 2025, Charles Babbage Computer Club organised an engaging IT Quiz competition that brought together enthusiastic participants from middle school (Grade V to VIII). The event was hosted by Arihant Shrestha and Nidhi Chaudhary, with timekeeping handled by Unika Jaiswal and Aryana Acharya. Jeeya Gupta and Parth Agarwala managed the scores as mark keepers.
A total of 24 IT enthusiast students were selected in the competition by house In-charge teachers. The quiz was played in five rounds, namely, 'general round', 'pick your pick', 'select one', and 'rapid fire round'.
The objective of the programme was to make IT enthusiastic students who are smarter and intelligent in Information Technology (IT) according to Computer Club In-charge Mr. Arjun Khatiwada. So, the contestants were asked IT related questions from their text books. Grade VI 'A' and 'I' students equally benefitted being the spectators of the Competition.
The quiz questions were presented by Sitanadan Sharma, while Dewashis Bhuswal managed the slide presentation, ensuring a smooth flow of the event.
After a spirited competition, Mt. Dhaulagiri secured the first position, followed by Mt. Kanchanjanga in second place. Mt. Lhotse and Mt. Machhapuchhre shared the third position.
