In her address, the Principal emphasised the values of leadership, stating, “To our new leaders—I urge you: wear your badge not on your chest but on your heart. Lead with wisdom. Act with courage. Speak with kindness. And never forget—you are the torchbearers of our values.”
The Principal further added, “Let this ceremony not just mark a beginning, but a promise—a promise to lead, to serve, and to make DAV SKVB proud. With this, I declare the Investiture Ceremony 2025–26 open and wish each one of you the very best in your new roles.”
Following her speech, the Principal officially handed over the School and House flags to the newly elected Head of the Student Council and administered the oath of office to the newly appointed Student Prefect Council members, as well as the Executive Representatives of various Houses and Clubs for the academic year 2025–26.

He also extended his heartfelt congratulations to all newly appointed student leaders and conveyed his best wishes to those aspiring for such roles in the future.
Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia reflected on the importance of the Investiture Ceremony, describing it as a defining moment wherein the school entrusts students with the responsibility to think independently, organise, and manage various co-scholastic activities. He spoke about the innate potential within each child and urged parents to entrust their children with responsibilities. He also highlighted that qualities such as attitude, empathy, behaviour, and character are all outcomes of discipline. Concluding his address, he congratulated and extended his best wishes to the newly appointed student leaders, as well as to those yet to receive such responsibilities.
