
51 Students from Grades V to XII Visit National Art Exhibition

On 11th June, Art and Craft Department, in collaboration with the Uttam Kiran Art Club, organised an educational visit to the National Art Exhibition held at the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), Balmandir, Naxal. A total of 51 students from Grades V to XII took part in this enriching experience.
According to Mr. Rajumuni Bajracharya, Head of the Art Department, the students had the opportunity to explore a wide variety of artworks, including paintings, sculptures, folk arts, handicrafts, Paubha and Thanka arts, as well as installation art—representing all seven provinces of Nepal. The students were both excited and inspired by the diverse expressions of artistic talent on display.
The visit aimed to broaden the students’ understanding and appreciation of art and craft, while also encouraging their creative pursuits. Ms. Samita Maharjan, Uttam Kiran Art Club In-charge, noted that NAFA hosts this prestigious exhibition and competition annually, featuring both traditional and contemporary works by artists from across the country.
