Date: Jun 6th, 2025
To mark World Environment Day, the Newton Science Club organised the Scraps to Splendours competition for students of Grades III and IV on 5th June. The event took place in their respective classrooms.
According to Ms Nikita Shrestha, In-charge of the Newton Science Club, the objective of the programme was to foster creativity and innovation by encouraging students to transform waste materials into useful decorative items.
Similarly, Grade II students took part in a Poster-Making Competition, organised by Ms Karuna Rai, In-charge of the Mother Teresa Social Service Club, in collaboration with the Grade II teaching team.
Both events proved to be enriching experiences, helping students gain a deeper understanding of the importance of a clean and green environment.
