Prashiddha and Kamal Selected for Bagmati Province Men’s Under-16 Team

Prashiddha Jaishi (Grade X) and Kamal Shahi (Grade VII) were selected for the Bagmati Province Men’s Under-16 Cricket Team on 30th May 2025, following their outstanding performances in the Bagmati Province Under-16 Team Selection Cricket Tournament. Similarly, Kritik Gnawali, a student of Grade XII, was named as a reserve player for the team.
Prashiddha Jaishi was appointed captain and will lead the Bagmati Province team in the upcoming matches. Both players have now begun their journey towards earning a place in the Men’s Under-16 National Team. They will represent Bagmati Province in the TB Shah Memorial Men’s Under-16 National Cricket Tournament, which is scheduled to be held in Surkhet, the headquarter of Karnali Province, from 2nd to 14th June 2025. All provincial teams will participate in this national-level event, and the best teams and outstanding players will be selected to form the Men’s Under-16 National Team for the ACC Men’s Under-16 East Zone Cup.
