2-Day Socialization Programme for Prefect Council Students at Nagarkot, Bhaktapur

The Prefect Council Team successfully conducted a 2-day socialization programme for the Prefect Council Students of Grades V to IX at Nagarkot, Bhaktapur, on 23rd and 24th March, 2025.
The students departed for Nagarkot immediately after their final examination at 12:30 PM on March 23. Before their departure, Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia, Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao, and Vice-principal Mr. Ramchandra Khanal extended their best wishes, emphasizing the importance of experiential learning beyond the classroom. A total of 60 students participated in this initiative. The objective of the programme was to enhance teamwork, leadership, and social skills of the Prefect Council students.
Upon reaching Nagarkot Shangrila Resort, the students were welcomed with refreshments. The first day was dedicated to interactive activities, including a musical chair competition and a hot potato game, followed by a campfire session with music and dance to encourage bonding among students.
The second day began with a nutritious breakfast followed by a one-and-a-half-hour walk for sightseeing and exploring the local village. The trip concluded with a relaxed lunch at the resort before the group returned to school at around 2:30 PM.
The socialization programme was led by SSO Mr. Prashant Samal, Prefect Council Team Head Ms. Shreejana Rana, and Prefect Council Team Members- Ms. Anusha Rana, Mr. Debojyoti Chhetri, and Ms. Samita Raut. The trip was efficiently managed by Mr. Prashant Sharma from Discovery Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd, Kathmandu.
