Family Jamboree of Grade I, 2024/25

The Family Jamboree of Grade I, 2024/25, held on March 12 at Buddha Hall, was a spectacular display of young talent, enthusiasm, and cultural celebration.
The event commenced with the arrival of Shree Anil Kedia, Patron of DAV School, alongside Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao, Vice-Principal Mr. Ramchandra Khanal, and CAO Ms. Vijaya Tater. The lighting of the ceremonial lamp and the National Anthem created an auspicious start to the gathering.
Throughout the programme, the Grade I students mesmerised the audience with a diverse set of performances, including an English song, Nepali cultural dance, Bollywood fusion, hip-hop/freestyle dance, and a Holi celebration. The enthusiasm of both students and parents was evident, as families cheered for the young performers, encouraging them on their artistic journey.
An exciting highlight of the evening was the mothers’ dance competition, which brought a wave of energy and joy to the hall. The winners were promptly honoured by the Chairperson, Principal, Vice-Principal, and CAO, adding a special touch to the event.
Furthermore, selected Grade II parents had the opportunity to evaluate the students' performances, with the best group set to be awarded in an upcoming assembly. The event was seamlessly hosted by Ms. Anusha Rana, Ms. Dikshya Pahari, and Ms. Ashmita Khadgi, who guided the proceedings with professionalism and charm.
The presence of school faculty members, including SSO, Wing Coordinators, HR Manager, HODs, and teachers, contributed to the programme’s success, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all. As the event concluded, heartfelt appreciation was extended to everyone involved in making the Jamboree a grand success.
