Educational Tour of Grade IX to Bandipur and Kurintar

A total of 59 interested students of Grades IX embarked on an educational tour to Bandipur and Kurintar from 28th to 30th December 2024. The students were accompanied by Mr. Tank Meghji Devji, Senior School Co-ordinator, Mr. Narayan Khatiwada, IX and X SEE In-charge and Ms. Kamana Adhikari, a Senior School Teacher, who guided them throughout the trip. The journey began on 28th December with a road trip from Kathmandu to the "Queen of Hills," Bandipur. Upon arrival, the students explored Bandipur Bazaar, temples, historical and cultural monuments, and Tundikhel. They also visited a temple atop a hill, enjoying its scenic beauty. The day ended with an exciting campfire, creating a memorable evening for everyone. On 29th December, the students witnessed a stunning sunrise view before visiting Boudha Gumba. The day also included an adventurous hike to Siddha Gufa, the largest cave in Nepal and the second largest in Asia. After the thrilling exploration of the cave, the group traveled to Kurintar and stayed at Kurintar Villa, where they rested after a fulfilling day. The final day, 30th December, featured a hike to observe the confluence of the Budhi Gandaki and Trishuli rivers. The students enjoyed lunch amidst nature before returning to Kathmandu, concluding the enriching three-day tour. The educational tour offered the students an excellent opportunity to explore Nepal’s natural beauty, historical landmarks, and cultural heritage, leaving them with unforgettable memories and a deeper appreciation for their country’s treasures.
