DAV School Clinches the 4th Community Service Center Futsal Cup -2081

DAV School's football team emerged victorious in the 4th Community Service Futsal Cup - 2081, organized by Nepal Police Office, Sanepa, Lalitpur, on June 21. The two-day interschool futsal cup featured 16 schools from the Kathmandu Valley. It was organised to mark the celebration of 'International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking'.
The competition followed a knockout format. DAV School demonstrated remarkable performance throughout the tournament, defeating Radiant Readers Academy 8-0 in the first match, followed by a 2-0 victory against Steeping Stone School in the quarter-finals, and another 2-0 win against Sampada School in the semi-final. In the final match, DAV School secured a 2-1 win against Pathshala School to claim the title.
The victorious team included players Anush Thapa (Grade X 'C'), Shuvam Kumar Sah (Grade X 'F'), Raunak Shrestha (Grade X 'C'), Kritagya Jha (Grade X 'C'), Sandesh Lekhak (Grade X 'C'), Nickson Thapa (Grade X 'A'), Manas Bam (Grade IX 'B'), and Sajan Rajali (Grade IX 'A'). The team was led by Team Manager Mr. Yaman Maharjan and Football Coach Ms. Chandra Bhandari. The award ceremony will take place at Sanepa Police Office on June 26.
