Family Jamboree of Grade X

Grade X families witnessed the gigantic and unbelievable inner talents of their children in a Family Jamboree programme for the session 2023/24 in Buddha Hall yesterday (17th August, 2023).
The Jamboree was adorned by the benign presence of distinguished guests, Past District Governor of Rotary District 3292 – Mr. Dilendra Shrestha, DAV Chairperson- Shree Anil Kedia, Federal Parliament Member- Mrs. Rekha Yadav and President of Rotary Club of Pasupathi- Surya Adhikari along with Rotarians- Dipendra Baskota, Mr. Gopal Pokhrel, Mr. Tej Prakash Khanal associated with Rotary Club of Pashupati.
Sooner the curtains of the stage were open, the students sung a beautiful English song, calm down. The programme took the pace by welcoming the guests/parents, lighting the lamp of wisdom and National Anthem respectively.
The Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao cordially welcomed all the distinguished guests and esteemed parents communities in the programme and highlighted that the jamboree was one evident step to cite the bonding of all trio i.e. students, teachers and parents under one roof.
The principal noted that School has always emphasized on holistic development and lifelong learning to see the children becoming the finest examples of humanity. At the same time, she presented the significant role of the parents in the growth and development of children. She presented collaborative approach of school with its communities for effective learning outcomes.
Similarly, the Principal also presented some mind-boggling thoughts apt for nurturing the board bound students. The students exhibited Recreated Reality Show Dance, International Dance, Nepali Cultural Dance, English Mash-up Song, Jamaican Dance, Thematic Dance, Hindi Nepali Mash-up Song and Bollywood Dance with their blasting shows in the spirit of the School Team Head.
The Chief Guest Mr. Dilendra Shrestha highly appreciated the talents of the students and said that the students performance in this scale is unbelievable. Addressing the august gatherings, Mr. Shrestha presented two motivating stories and noted that the sole objective of the humanity is to generate hopes for life. He also encouraged the parents to generate the hopes for the children in the governing bodies of the country.
DAV Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia presented a token of love to the distinguished guests in the presence of the Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao and Vice-principal Mr. Ram Chandra Khanal. Similarly, the winners of parents game competition were also honoured with a token of love.
CAO Ms. Vijaya Tater, SSO Mr. Prashant Samal, Senior School Co-ordinator Mr. Tank Meghji Devji along with all the Faculties Head were there to extend sincere hospitality and warm welcome to all the guests.
Grade IX and X Academic In-charge Mr. Narayan Khatiwada made a concluding remark to wrap up the show. The MCs of the Day were Ms. Paromita Mukherjee and Mr. Shovan Bhandari. Similarly, the host for the Parents game competition was HoD of HPE Mr. Binod Piya.
