Participation at Second Bakery Workshop

A total of ten students from Grade VIII participated at the Second Bakery Workshop organised by French Culture Center at Alliance Francaise de Kathmandu premises, on February 7, 2023. 

The students learnt about the famous and delicious French Bakery items "MADELEINE". Ms. Marianne and her Team conducted this Baking Session.

The workshop started with a short introduction of "MADELEINE" and its connection with the Royal family of Louis-XV of France.

Then, the trainers distributed a prospectus of recipes to the students in groups. Mr. Sabin Shakya- HoD of Foreign language along with French teacher of DAV also helped students to understand some technical words and phrases in English.

Then, they made MADELEINE Bakery and tasted their own recipes. At the end, there was a very interesting Quiz on this recipe. DAV students answered all the questions correctly.

The students who participated in Bakery workshop were from Grade VIII and they are Manish Singh- Section 'J', Ambika Bhattacharya- Section I, Arpita Sinha- Section J, Pratik Kumar- Section J, Aniket Jaiswal- Section J, Dibyanshi Shah- Section J, Swechha Mallick- Section J, Mahi Rauniyar- Section E, Arbishta Shah Thakuri- Section E and Neeva Bajracharya –Section D.
