You are the moon in the sky so high.
Surrounded by stars, yet you catch my eye.
No one else shines the way you do
The whole world fades when I see you.
You are the first ray of morning light,
Chasing away the longest night
As beautiful as a sunset's hue,
Calm, enchanting soft, and true.
You are the one I seek in crowd,
The world turns blurry my heart beats loud.
You are the ocean where I long to be lost,
Where every moment is worth the cost.
You are the muse all poets chase,
They write of you then drift in grace.
Just like I do when I see your face
Heart stands still, lost in your embrace.
