We deck our homes with lights so bright,
Yet some hearts sit in endless night.
We share sweets and laughter, oh so sweet,
But forget that kindness is the real treat.
We wish ‘Happy Diwali’ on every phone,
Yet some souls feel lonely, unseen, alone.
We chase glitter, gold, and fleeting fame,
But forget that love itself is the true flame.
Fireworks burst, colors in the sky,
While silent tears go unnoticed nearby.
We celebrate abundance, joy, and cheer,
But a little care could light someone’s year.
Diyas flicker, shadows dance on walls,
We laugh at parties, yet ignore someone who falls.
Oh Diwali, your lights are everywhere,
But the brightest glow is when hearts truly care.
