Student Blog Published on 2026-06-29 I watch as they stand, Infront of the stair, Wishing they would care, Care enough to climb the ladder, That reaches me, But, it’s like they lost their knee. I hold out my hand Hoping they will climb now, Yet they stand still, But, how? My hand falls Silence takes over, Hurt, I rip out my cover, Scream my lungs out, "Have I become ash?" I doubt. I watch them fade away, Like a leather, Losing its flight Giving up on finding the light, That reaches me.
