It takes courage to pluck the flower you water.
I learnt gardening in my early childhood. I grew up playing with the flowers in my garden at home. To tell you a secret, rose is my all-time favourite flower and taking care of it in my garden means a lot to me. Most importantly, growing flower in my garden carries hundreds of unforgettable memories.
My papa is really passionate about gardening. He loves it and so do I. Gardening with my papa not only taught me watering flowers but also many life lessons.
However, “Things change and that’s really traumatizing.” I never expected that I’ll one day start plucking the same flowers I planted for someone, someone really special to me. I have plucked them, broke its petals, arranged them for that someone, for which I don’t really have to visit any florist.
I think, somehow, the gardening I liked and my colourful feeling is now dull.
Nevertheless, gardening with papa taught me that “Real love is when someone never lets you give up on yourself by giving you all the love you deserve.” And it is really true!
