There is no teacher

Who isn’t a student,
Who won’t be a student.
Teacher wants you
Never make mistakes
S/he had made,
Wants you never fall
Where s/he had fallen,
Wants you always learn
From the journey than destination.
Teacher helps you write
Your story
Where you are the hero
And often s/he isn’t
Even a part of your legend.
Every teacher fights
Yours battles
For vidhya over avidhya
For jyoti over tamas
For amrita over mrita.
Every teacher is a human
Perhaps a bit more
In everything, in every way
To every common human.
Teacher is a shikshak
On the way to
Become a guru
To be acharya
A true bodhisattva.
