The most beautiful place for me is Mustang. It lies behind the big Himalayas in the north of Nepal. Mustang is a little desert in the mountains. It had read and yellowish hills, strong wind and a very blue sky. It is surrounded by big white mountains like Annapurna and Dhaulagiri.
The holy Kali-Gandaki River flows through Mustang. It makes the deepest gorge in the world and people find holy Shaligram stones there.
There is this famous Muktinath Temple at 3,800 meters. Both the Hindus and Buddhists pray there. There is a general belief that bathing under its 108 holy water sprouts washes away our sins.
Whenever the aeroplane in Jomsom, it goes very near to the land. It flies so low, I can hear it and feel its wind.
Because of all these reasons, Mustang is most beautiful to me. It lives in my heart and mind like a beautiful dream.
