"If only I was good enough"
Those were the words she dwelled upon
She realized how life was very tough
Forever she felt like a helpless fawn
Through the darkness finding her way
Couldn’t find the light, she was led astray
If only I ever felt any gay
Those words she would always say
She was told she's too young to understand
She was slowly letting her soul to drain
Not a single person held her hand
Or stuck to her while she was in pain
Maybe if she had been offered a hand
Or helped in their sorrowful times of dismay
She might’ve been able to happily stand
She wouldn’t have let her soul be taken away
If only they were there for her
Maybe her life wouldn’t have been so much of a blur
"If only I was good enough, if only I was brave enough"
She uttered those words with all her might
Before she silently sailed into the night.
