Yangzum Lama Wins Gold and Silver; Qualifies for South Asian Karate Championship

Sixth-grader Yangzum Lama recently poured her heart and hard work at 2nd Youth Karate Championship, and it paid off beautifully. The competition was held at National Karate Academy, Satodobato, Lalitpur. Competing against talented young athletes from all over Nepal, she claimed a gold medal in the Under-12 Team Kata and a silver in the Under-12 Kumite event.
Her remarkable dedication has earned her a proud spot on the national stage, qualifying her to represent Nepal at the upcoming 10th South Asian Karate Federation Championship in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The entire DAV family is incredibly proud of Yangzum's achievement as she takes this exciting step into international competition.
