Thematic Dance Triumphs at Grade X Family Jamboree

The Grade X Family Jamboree at DAV Sushil Kedia Vishwa Bharati School, held on 25th August 2026, was a lively and colourful celebration of talent, energy, and creativity. The event concluded with Thematic Dance emerging as the winner of the dance competition.
The performances were evaluated by the parents of Grade IX. Mr. Ramchandra Khanal announced the results, and Senior School Co-ordinator Mr. Tank Meghji Devji honoured the winning team.
The students of the winning thematic group were honoured with medals, while their choreographer, Mr. Sanjay Magar, received a cash prize of NPR 10,000. The team in-charges—Mr. Bhawani Ghimire, Mr. Modnath Poudel, Ms. Srijana Neupane, Mr. Anjal Tajpuria, Mr. Shyam Lal Das, Mr. Bijay Maharjan, and Mr. Amit Gupta—were also honoured during the school assembly.
The competition featured a wonderful mix of dance and music performances across seven categories. The final cumulative scores were:
1st Place: Thematic Dance — 1,283 points
2nd Place: International Dance — 1,211 points
3rd Place: Nepali Fusion Dance — 1,171 points
4th Place: Fusion of Kathak, Semi-Classical and Hip-Hop Dance — 1,147 points
5th Place: Bollywood Dance — 1,077 points
6th Place: English Song — 1,056 points
7th Place: Hindi Fusion Song — 1,042 points
