Sloka, Saanchi, and Ayara Crowned Dancing Stars of DAV Juniors, 2026

Sloka Subedi of Junior School won the Dancing Star of DAV Juniors, 2026 title at the grand finale organised by Dance Department of DAV School in Buddha Hall today, 16th September 2026.
Saanchi Dhoot secured the First Runner-up title, while Ayara Rana Magar was named the Second Runner-up. The winners were honoured with trophies, certificates of achievement and sashes.
A total of 13 talented contestants earned their places in the final round after progressing through the preliminary and semi-final rounds. Each finalist delivered an energetic and captivating performance, making the task of selecting the winners a challenging one for the panel of judges. The event became even more delightful when distinguished Guest Judge Ms. Situ Maharjan also enthralled the audience with a graceful dance performance.
The programme was graced by the parents of the finalists, with DAV Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia serving as the Chief Guest. The event was also attended by Special Guests Ms. Romila Koirala, Bagmati Province Head – Cluster 2, Sanima Bank, and Ms. Priti Singh, Branch Manager, Sanima Bank. Distinguished Guest Judge Ms. Situ Maharjan from the Dance Department of Padmakanya Campus, Mr. Ramchandra Khanal, and Junior School Co-ordinator Mr. Andrew Fitz Patrick were also present on the occasion.
The formal programme commenced with the opening of the floor by Junior School Activity In-charge Ms. Anusha Rana. The event was moderated by Mr. Janak Chaudhary, Dance Teacher of the Junior School. Mr. Lizendra Maharjan, Dance Teacher of the Senior School and one of the judges, announced the results, while Mr. Sanjay Magar also served on the judging panel.
Addressing the gathering, Guest Judge Ms. Situ Maharjan warmly appreciated the impressive dancing skills and talents of the Junior School students. She expressed her delight at being part of the event and congratulated the winners as well as all the finalists for their confidence, enthusiasm and high-energy performances that captivated the audience.
The formal programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Shreejana Shrestha, Head of the Dance Department.
The finalists of Dancing Star of DAV Juniors, 2026 were Guruastaka Nepal, Brianna Maharjan, Ivana Neupane, Devyanshi Rijal, Aslesha Khadka, Ananya Rauniyar, Shirish Maharjan, Amani Dangol, Ayara Rana Magar, Raima Sah, Raisha Prajapati Dangol, Sloka Subedi and Saanchi Dhoot. All the participants were also honoured with Certificates of Participation by the distinguished guests immediately after the competition, making the celebration a memorable and encouraging experience for every young performer.
