Shivansh, a 12-year-old Grade VIII student of DAV School, shows great promise in swimming with three silver medals

Shivanshman Kayastha, who dreams big at a young age, has made a strong mark in the field of swimming with an impressive performance. He won three silver medals in the swimming competition held under the Third Bagmati Province Sports Championship 2083.
The 12-year-old Grade VIII student of DAV School secured second place in the 1500m Freestyle, 200m Butterfly Stroke, and the Men's 4×200m Freestyle Relay events, earning three silver medals.
The competition was held on 21st and 22nd June at the Satdobato Indoor Swimming Complex, where he represented the Lalitpur team. In recognition of his outstanding performance, he received a cash prize of Rs. 14,300. Lalitpur Group also finished second in the overall team standings.
Through continuous practice, hard work, and dedication to the sport, Shivansh is emerging as a promising athlete for the future. If he maintains this momentum, he has the potential to bring glory to Nepal not only at the national level but also on the international stage.
