Second Event of Sushil Kedia Memorial Sports Gala 2026/27: 10th Sushil Kedia Memorial Inter-School Futsal Tournament Concludes with Award Ceremony

The second event of the Sushil Kedia Memorial Sports Gala 2026/27, the 10th Sushil Kedia Memorial Inter-School Futsal Tournament, concluded with an Award Distribution Ceremony in the gracious presence of DAV Chairperson, Shree Anil Kedia at the School ground on August 19.
The Sushil Kedia Memorial Sports Gala 2026/27 was held as a part of the celebration of the 60th Birth Anniversary of Late Sushil Kedia.
Right after the final match on the school grounds, DAV Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia attended the award ceremony to present trophies, medals and certificates to the winning teams and certificates to all participants.
This year, the tournament saw the participation of 19 schools. The matches were officiated by ANFA officials Mr. Sanu Kanchha Tamang and Mr. Sukraj Ghale.
After an intense round of competitive games, St. Xavier's School lifted the 10th Sushil Kedia Memorial Cup winning trophy. Chelsea World School finished as the first runner-up to secure the second-position trophy, while EPS School took home the third-position trophy.
Individual awards were also presented to deserving players. Shirish Sharma from EPS School won Best Goalkeeper Award, while his teammate Sushil Bhul took home the Highest Scorer award. Loveinson Tamang of Chelsea World School earned the Emerging Player title, and LMV School was honored with the Fair Play Team Award
The formal opening of the tournament was conducted by Senior School Co-ordinator Mr. Tank Meghji Devji, in the presence of Sports HOD Mr. Purnendu Ghosh, Senior School Football Coach Mr. Bijay Maharjan, and faculty members of the Sports Department.
