Second Bagless Day Marks the Celebration of International Children’s Day and International Day for Tolerance

Date: Nov 21st, 2025

The school observed its second Bagless Day of the session on 20th November 2025, marking International Children’s Day and World Tolerance Day with a range of engaging and purposeful activities across all classes.
The International Day for Tolerance is observed worldwide on 16th November, while World Children’s Day is celebrated on 20th November. Both occasions are marked through different awareness initiatives.
As a part of celebration, special assemblies were held in the Junior, Middle, and Senior wings, where teachers presented songs, dances and shared messages for the students. The day offered opportunities for joy, creativity, and meaningful participation, with each section involved in age-appropriate programmes.
In the Senior School, Grade IX followed a structured schedule of activities. Classroom sessions were held during the first two periods, followed by a Talent Show for all sections in Indu Hall during the third and fourth periods. Sports events took place on the school grounds in the fifth and sixth periods, and the day concluded with movie screenings in the classrooms during the seventh and eighth periods. Grade XI conducted their own programme in Jetavan Hall during the third and fourth periods.
In the Middle School, Grades VII and VIII observed the occasion with two major activities. During the first two periods, students participated in the Tolerance Mosaic/Puzzle Project, decorating individual pieces that were later combined to form a collective artwork symbolising unity in diversity. After the short break, a cultural programme was organised in Buddha Hall for all students of both grades. Additionally, students of Grades V and VI enjoyed a screening of a movie 'Tarzan and Jane' in Buddha Hall along with classroom activities.
In the Junior School, the day began with a special assembly, followed by cake cutting and classroom activities based on worksheets. Each child received a gift. Kindergarten children were also engaged in similar activities.
Across Kindergarten to Grade XII, classrooms were filled with a festive atmosphere as Children’s Day celebrations and thematic activities were conducted by teachers, making the day enjoyable and memorable for all students.
