Principal Bestows Limelight Scholar Awards in Senior School Highest Scorers of Term I Examination 2025 Honoured

Recognising the outstanding academic performance of the students in Term I Examination 2025/26, the Principal, Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao, conferred the Limelight Scholar Awards upon the highest scorers from Grades IX to XII during the special morning assembly of the Senior School today (5th December, 2025).
A total of 78 students were honoured with Certificates of Achievement—27 from Grade IX, 24 from Grade X, 15 from Grade XI and 12 from Grade XII. The awards were presented by the Principal in the presence of CAO and Examination Controller, Ms. Vijaya Tater, and Senior School Co-ordinator, Mr. Tank Meghji Devji.
In her brief address, the Principal expressed her delight in presenting the Limelight Scholar Awards. She noted that this was the first time DAV had introduced the honour and emphasised that the ceremony would be remembered as a significant milestone in the school’s academic journey. She encouraged students to value the certificate not merely as a document for their portfolio but also as an important addition to their CV, inspiring them to strive higher in their academic pursuits.
Highlighting the value of dedication, the Principal reminded students that academic excellence is not an unattainable challenge. She urged them to put in consistent effort, maintain punctuality and cultivate discipline in their studies.
During her interaction with the students, the Principal observed that many were eager to attain the Limelight Scholar Award. She expressed her hope that all aspiring students would secure their place among the achievers in the Term II Examination. She concluded her remarks by congratulating the award recipients and wishing all students the very best for the forthcoming Second Periodic Examination, scheduled to begin on Monday.
