Principal Announces the Inaugural Knight of Valor Award for Middle and Senior School Students

The Principal, Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao, officially announced the ''Knight of Valor Award'' during a special award ceremony held in Buddha Hall on July 24. Introduced for the first time in DAV's history, the award will be presented from the 2026–27 academic session onwards to recognise students who display courage, responsibility, and care for themselves and others.
While introducing the award, the Principal explained its purpose and selection criteria. She shared that the ''Knight of Valor Award'' honours students who bravely come forward to report issues affecting themselves, their friends, or the school community by informing the Co-ordinators or the Principal's Office. The initiative encourages students to seek help and speak up against situations that is bothering, making them discomfort, or unhappiness, reflecting the true spirit of a brave knight. She also assured students that all information shared would be treated with the utmost privacy and confidentiality.
The inaugural Knight of Valor Award for the 2026–27 academic session was presented to three deserving students: Pranay Mishra (Grade XII 'A'), Anshul Khandelwal (Grade VIII 'H'), and Vedant Sarda (Grade VIII 'H'), in recognition of their courage and responsible actions.
