Photography Workshop for Grade VII Mass Media Students

Vocational Department organised a Photography Workshop for Grade VII Mass Media students in Jetavan Hall on December 19. A total of 71 students participated in the programme.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Rabinson Maharjan, Digital Content Expert, in the presence of Vice-principal Mr. Ramchandra Khanal. During the session, students were introduced to the fundamentals of photography, including framing, lighting and composition. They also learnt about essential camera settings such as ISO, aperture and shutter speed, along with proper camera calibration techniques for achieving optimal results.
The workshop further covered basic editing and colour grading techniques, enabling students to gain an understanding of post-production processes used to enhance photographs.
In his brief address, Vice-principal Mr. Ramchandra Khanal emphasised the importance of introducing photography training at an early age. He expressed his sincere appreciation to the resource person and the Vocational Department for this commendable initiative, and encouraged the continuation of such programmes in the future.
According to the Head of the Vocational Department, Mr. Ananta Maharjan, the objective of the workshop was to lay a strong foundation in visual storytelling by blending technical knowledge with creative practice. Mass Media Teacher Ms. Shreejana Bajracharya added that inviting an external resource person aimed to provide expert exposure beyond the regular vocational classes conducted by the department.
