Outstanding Achievement in the 1st Jugal Nawa Gurukul Kathmandu District Level Taekwondo Championship – 2081

A total of twenty athletes from DAV Sushil Kedia Vishwa Bharati School participated in the 1st Jugal Nawa Gurukul Taekwondo Championship – 2081 at Jugal Nawa Gurukul Taekwondo Dojang, Budhanilkantha-10, Kapan, Kathmandu on 15th February 2025.
Demonstrating exceptional skill and determination, DAV students competed in 23 categories and secured medals in 21 categories, marking a remarkable achievement for the school.
To celebrate this outstanding success, Vice-Principal Mr. Ramchandra Khanal extended his heartfelt congratulations to the winners during the morning assembly today (17th February 2025). The students’ remarkable performance earned them 6 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 11 bronze medals, along with merit certificates.
The gold medalists are Tanishqa Shah, Agrim Budhathoki, and Satyartha Prakash Adhikari from Grade VI, along with Syna Shrestha, Jhalak Regmi from Grade VIII, and Rejoy Thapa from Grade III.
The silver medalists include Shreya Bajracharya, Aaradhya Bahadur Shahi, Nikita Thakur from Grade VII and Agrim Budhathoki from Grade VI.
The bronze medalists are Adhira Paudel from Grade III, Jehan Man Joshi and Prayan Siwakoti from Grade V, Asmina K.C. from Grade VII, and Pragya Siwakoti, Nhujala Shrestha, Arya Pradhanang, Aayan Shrestha, and Shiven Shrestha from Grade VIII.
This achievement reflects the dedication and excellence of DAV students in the field of Taekwondo, bringing pride to the school and inspiring future athletes.
