In addition, he highlighted the importance of international standards in the post-World War era and explained the roles and interrelationships of certification bodies and accreditation bodies across different countries.
Furthermore, Mr. Subedi elaborated on ISO 21001:2018 as an international framework aimed at enhancing educational services and improving learning outcomes. He also discussed the benefits of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 21001:2018, along with key concepts such as QMS/EOMS principles, the SIPOC model, the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle, the scope of ISO 21001:2018, and integrated certification systems aligned with various ISO standards.
Special emphasis was placed on international accreditation forums and certification bodies, including JAS-ANZ, NABCB, CAB, and ICS. He also shared sample Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to the examination cell and Co-curricular Activities (CCA) management.
The session aimed to strengthen social responsibility, promote evidence-based decision-making, and encourage ethical practices within the institution.
