One Day Peer Teaching Programme for Middle School Students
Date: Jun 26th, 2026
A One Day Peer Teaching Programme was organised on June 18, where 90 students from Grades V to VIII took on the role of teachers. As a part of the school’s Student-to-Student Mentorship initiative, each grade taught the junior class—Grade V taught Grade I, Grade VI taught Grade II, Grade VII taught Grade III, and Grade VIII taught Grade IV. Students used creative and engaging teaching materials during their sessions.
The initiative was designed under the guidance of the Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao, who introduced its vision during the Annual General Meeting for the Academic Session 2026/27. The programme helped create a supportive learning environment where older students grow as young mentors and younger students learn with greater interest and ease.
The objective of the programme, as shared by Middle School Management Representative Ms. Gauri Tamang, was to build confidence, improve public speaking, and develop lesson planning and teaching skills in a real classroom setting. Teachers observed the sessions and provided feedback through reflection worksheets prepared by the school administration.
