Nine Students of Grade XI CBSE Honoured at Felicitation Ceremony Organised for the Toppers of Hindi Language Subject

Nine students from Grade XI CBSE were felicitated on July 26, for their outstanding results in Hindi language subject in the CBSE Board Exams. The students, who secured impressive scores ranging from 90 to 97 marks, were recognized during a special programme organized by Dr. Krishna Chandra Mishra Publication Pvt. Ltd. and Himalini Magazine at DAVSKVB School.
The felicitated DAV students—all currently studying in Grade XI CBSE at DAVSKVB—include Angel Bharadwaj, Shubham Sharma, Ruby Kumari, Pratik Kushwaha, Gaurav Kumar Kanth, Bhavesh Kumar Jain, Aayush Raj Jaiswal, Lakshya Agrawal, and Sadaf Khurshid. Adding to the school's pride, Angel Bharadwaj was awarded a cash prize for emerging as the overall topper for his 97 marks. The ceremony also honored all the achievers scoring 90 marks and above from other prominent CBSE schools across the region, including Kendriya Vidyalaya, Modern Indian School, Alok Vidyashram, and Rupy's International School.
The event featured Ms. Gitanjali Brandan, Political Counselor at the Embassy of India, as the Chief Guest, alongside Special Guest Shree Anil Kedia, Chairperson of DAV. A key highlight of the occasion was the official launch of the book titled 'Nir Bhari Tapta Nadi', authored by Dr. Swepta Deepti, Head of the Central Department of Hindi at Tribhuvan University.
In her address, Chief Guest Ms. Brandan congratulated all the achievers, wishing them continued success in their future endeavors. She expressed her appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by DAV School and praised the organizing bodies—Dr. Krishna Chandra Mishra Publication Pvt. Ltd. and Himalini Magazine—for their dedication to promoting the language.
Highlighting the broader significance of the event, DAV Chairperson Shree Anil Kedia emphasized the critical role of one's native language in preserving a community's ancient civilization, culture, religion, and spirituality. According to Mr. Purushottam Pokharel, Head of the Hindi Language Department at DAV, the felicitation programme brought together an audience of around 200 literature lovers, writers, and educators.
