Inter-Class Commerce Extempore Competition in Senior School

The Department of Commerce organised an Inter-Class Commerce Extempore Competition for selected students of Grades IX and X in Jetavan Hall on June 3, during the 5th and 6th periods.
The main objective of the competition was to develop and enhance the public speaking skills of the students. A total of 22 participants took part in the event, speaking enthusiastically on various commerce-related topics such as the importance of saving habits for students, the role of business in society, profit in business, dream business ideas, e-commerce and its importance, and the role of banks in daily life. Each participant was given a maximum of two minutes to present their views.
Students of IX ‘C’ and IX ‘D’ attended as the audience and actively encouraged the participants with their supportive presence.
The competition was evaluated by Mr. Iveen Manandhar (HOD Commerce) and Mr. Deepak Chaudhary (+2 Teacher). The winners of the competition were Aaradhya Sah of X ‘E’ (First Position), Prachur Dhakal of X ‘D’ (Second Position), Asmina KC of IX ‘F’ (Third Position), and Swastika Shah of IX ‘E’ (Fourth Position). The winners will be honoured with Merit Certificates in due course.
