Family Jamboree of Grade IV, 2026/27

Family Jamboree of Grade IV, the most awaited cultural extravaganza of DAV for the academic session 2026/27, was held in Buddha Hall on August 7.
The spectators of the program were parents, grandparents, and guardians of Grade IV students. The Principal, Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao, alongside Mr. Ramchandra Khanal and CAO Ms. Vijaya Tater, heartily welcomed all the invited guests.
The formal program started with opening remarks by Junior School Activity In-charge Ms. Anusha Rana, followed by a welcome address for the guest and judge parents. Representing the grandparents' community, Mrs. Nirmala Basnet and Mr. S.K. Tamot participated in lighting the ceremonial lamp in the presence of the school authority. The hall then observed the rendition of the national anthem.
Thereafter, the students of Grade IV presented a beautiful English song, an international dance, and a thematic dance. Some enthusiastic parents also participated in recreational games, adding elegance and ecstasy to the celebration. The winner parents were honored with awards immediately after the competition.
The students' cultural show continued with a Nepali dance, a freestyle dance, and a Nepali song, culminating in a Bollywood and Tollywood mashup dance.
The moderators of the program were Ms. Anjali Tamatta and Ms. Dikshya Pahari. Ms. Anita Adhikari hosted the parents' game competition.
The Family Jamboree of DAV has always created cherished memories for students, parents, and teachers alike. Family Jamboree is the brainchild of Principal Dr. Bhubaneswari Rao and it is well received as a signature event of DAV School, providing a platform for students to express their inner talents. Through music, dance, and enactments, the students took their parents on an exciting journey across Nepal and different continents with dedication, confidence, and artistic expression.
Human Resource Manager Mr. Ashish Rai, SSO Mr. Prashant Samal, Senior School Co-ordinator Mr. Tank Meghji Devji, Middle School Co-ordinator Mr. Krishna Joshi, Junior School Co-ordinator Mr. Andrew Fitz Patrick, Kindergarten Co-ordinator Ms. Shanti Gurung, HODs, and all Junior School teachers were present to ensure the smooth conduct of the programme.
